Privacy Policy

Last updated August 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DeepScope, a research product by Royal Bengal AI, handles information when you use our website and API. We try to collect as little as the service needs, to be clear about why, and to give you control over it.

1. Who we are

DeepScope is a research product operated by Royal Bengal AI (“DeepScope”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the DeepScope website and API, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

For any privacy question, or to make a request about your data, contact us at support@royalbengal.ai.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to work:

  • Account information. When you sign up, your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google profile identifier from Google; we never receive your Google password.
  • Content you submit. The business names, website links, social profile links, person names, uploaded CV text, and research topics you enter to start a run, and any API keys you create (stored only as a one-way hash, so the key itself is never kept).
  • Results we generate. The reports each run produces, the sources it read, and the run’s progress and status, stored under your account so you can return to them.
  • Billing information. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly. We do not see or store your card number; we keep only a customer and subscription identifier and your plan status.
  • Usage records. Counts and token totals for the runs you make, so we can enforce plan limits and understand overall load.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs (such as timestamps and error messages) created when you use the site, used to keep the service running and secure.

3. Information about other people and businesses

DeepScope compiles information from public and licensed sources about the businesses and, in Person Search, the individuals you research. That information comes from sources such as public websites, public social profiles, search results, and business-listing providers. We process it to produce the report you asked for.

If you use DeepScope to research a person, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for using the result lawfully. See our Terms of Service for the rules that apply. If you are the subject of a report and want to make a request about your information, contact us at support@royalbengal.ai and we will respond in line with applicable law.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • create and secure your account, and sign you in;
  • run the research you request and return its results;
  • process payments and manage your subscription and plan limits;
  • provide support and respond to your requests;
  • maintain, debug, and improve the service and protect it from abuse;
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your runs to train our own models.

5. Service providers we share with

We share information with a small set of providers that operate parts of the service on our behalf, only as needed to run it. Each processes data under its own terms:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Railway — application hosting.
  • Google — Google sign-in, business-listing lookups (Google Places), and the Gemini model used for grounded search.
  • Anthropic — the Claude model used to read sources and write reports.
  • Apify and Firecrawl — reading and collecting content from public web pages during a run.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of DeepScope, our users, or the public. If we are ever involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. We keep the runs and reports you create until you delete them or close your account. We may retain limited records for longer where we need to for legal, accounting, or security reasons. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify the personal information associated with it, except what we are required to retain.

7. Security

We protect your information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity: passwords are stored only as a secure hash, API keys are stored only as a one-way hash and shown to you once, payment card details never reach our servers, and internal data tables are reachable only by the service, not from the public internet. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix problems promptly.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update your name and email, change your password, and manage your sign-in methods and subscription from your account settings, and you can delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these, email support@royalbengal.ai. We will verify your request and respond within the time your local law requires.

9. International users

DeepScope is operated by Royal Bengal AI and its providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Wherever your information is processed, we apply this policy. By using DeepScope you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.

10. Children

DeepScope is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of DeepScope after a change means you accept the updated policy.
